iTaxi app case study

This project emerged from participation in a UX hackathon where real businesses brought forth their digital products and genuine challenges. The app’s name was altered at the request of the original company, which preferred to remain undisclosed.

Goal

Identify areas in the app design that could be enhanced and propose solutions validated through user testing to address them.

Scope

The entire mobile app underwent a ground-up redesign completed within a 24-hour timeframe.

Research

The research phase encompassed direct communication with customers, a comprehensive examination of all facets of the app design, and usability testing involving five participants. Throughout usability testing, numerous pain points were uncovered, ranging from an unclear taxi ordering process to accessibility issues.

Ideation process

Creating a user flow diagram proved pivotal in refining the overall user experience, providing a clear roadmap for subsequent development. With this strong foundation in place, I proceeded to craft detailed wireframes, iteratively refining the final designs and optimizing element placements for maximum effectiveness.
